During a digital campaign event with Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, it sounded as though somebody broke wind when Joe Biden was in the middle of criticizing Republicans’ response to states teetering on the verge of bankruptcy because of losses of revenue due to the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Washington Examiner reported.

“[Mitch McConnell] says they should declare bankruptcies if you can. And this isn’t some math exercise. This is about people. It’s about making sure you don’t have to cut those teachers and firefighters, police officers, and cut critical healthcare programs,” the former vice president said before it sounded as though somebody passed some gas. “Or stop work on roads and bridges. So, what does the human cost of lack of state and local fiscal relief look like in Pennsylvania?” Washington Examiner noted.

The squeak appeared to invoke a minor grimace and head tilt from Wolf, who proceeded to discuss the issues facing his state and the need for further economic stimulus, as per Washington Examiner.

It was not immediately clear who, if anyone, actually cut the cheese, but once the clip hit Twitter, some users began speculating it was Biden.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, in November, shook social media into frenzy after a video purportedly shows him accidentally passing gas while appearing live on Hardball With Chris Matthews.

“It was not me!!!!!!” the California Democrat had claimed. “Ha. And I didn’t hear it when I was speaking.”
