Acosta Takes Selfie Footage At Border & Claims No Crisis, Instantly Gets ROASTED

CNN is back at it again and desperately seeking to undermine the Commander in Chief from protecting the border.

With that being said, they sent their their lap dog, Jim Acosta, who toured parts of the border while he awaited the President’s arrival. (Video Below)

Jim Acosta is having a bad week. First, counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, fired back at him calling him a smartass on Tuesday. Next, while at the border in Texas, he tweeted a video of himself, posted it on Twitter, and it instantly backfired. In Acosta’s video, it showed him next to a “steel slat” barrier that is already in place in the area.

Acosta tweeted, “I found some steel slats down on the border. But I don’t see anything resembling a national emergency situation.. at least not in the McAllen TX area of the border where Trump will be today.”

Acosta said in his video, “Here are some of the steel slats the president has been talking about…But as we’re walking along here, we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger. There are no migrants trying to, uh, rush toward this fence…no sign of the ‘national emergency’ that the president has been talking about. As a matter of fact, it’s pretty tranquil down here.” (Video Below)

Apparently Acosta didn’t think it through very well before posting his video, because he got instantly roasted afterwards. The fact that Acosta just proved President Trump’s point that “walls work” seems to have gone right over his head.

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders wrote in response to Acosta’s video, “When I went with President @realDonaldTrump to the border today I never imagined @Acosta would be there doing our job for us and so clearly explaining why WALLS WORK. Thanks Jim!”

Sara Carter said, “What do you @Acosta constitute as a national emergency? Take a drive into Reynosa and interview the ‘coyotes’ criminal traffickers – or Los Zetas, Gulf Cartel- billions of $ worth of drugs and human cargo… they would love it if we would just walk away and do nothing.” Carter added, “They play people for fools. Why perpetuate the decades of humanitarian disaster decades by allowing them to control the loopholes in our immigration system.The women and children who have to pay their way to make it to the US border – some raped and mistreated. Brad Parscale, President Trump’s campaign manager for the 2020 reelection campaign wrote, “I would like to thank @Acosta for pointing out how peaceful, safe and secure it is at a part of the border that HAS a wall. #RealNews #BuildTheWall”

The President’s son, Donald Trump Jr. wrote, “Of course you don’t Jim. That’s because walls work. Thanks for your help proving @realDonaldTrump’s point and simultaneously creating one of the best self-own videos ever!!!

The blaze added, “DEAR DIARY- Today I safely reported from behind a wall about why I just don’t understand the importance of walls. Also, I looked really good doing it. Yours always, Acosta”
