On Friday, Chelsea Clinton was approached by angry students while attending a vigil for the New Zealand mosque attack victims.

The students essentially blamed Chelsea for the deaths of 49 people who died in the attacks because she spoke out against Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic behavior.

As per the report by Daily Caller, the students referenced a tweet where Chelsea condemned Omar. One of the students said, “This right here is the result of the massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you have put out into the world.” The student added, “I want you to know that. I want you to feel that deep inside. The 49 people died because of the rhetoric you put out there.”

Clinton responded to the students, “I’m so sorry that you feel that way. It was certainly never my intention. I do believe words matter. I believe we have to show solidarity.”

The tweet that the students referenced by Clinton read, “Co-signed as an American. We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism.”

In a rare move, Donald Trump Jr. came to Chelsea Clinton’s defense of the students blaming her for the New Zealand mosque attacks. See Below
