On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced her decision to not hold a vote on authorizing an impeachment inquiry into President Trump, despite pressure from Republican lawmakers.

Pelosi made her announcement following remarks made by House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff at a press conference.

“There’s no requirement we have a vote, and so at this time we will not be having a vote,” Pelosi said.

“And I’m very pleased with the thoughtfulness of our caucus, in terms of being supportive of our path that we are on in terms of fairness, in terms of seeking the truth, in terms of upholding the Constitution of the United States,” she added.

Upon learning of Pelosi’s decision, Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume lashed out at Democrats over their “one-sided process.”

“Why would she hold a vote?” Brit asked.

“The almost comically one-sided process she and Schiff are running is working like a charm,” he continued. VideoIt might not have worked if mainstream media were demanding transparency, but they are not. Of course they’re not.” See Below
