Co-Host of The View and liberal entertainer Whoopi Goldberg celebrated her 64th birthday on Wednesday, and Donald Trump Jr. seized the moment by trolling her with a sarcastic belated-birthday wish the following day.
One week earlier, Don Jr appeared on The View with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to discuss his new book Triggered, when he got into a heated exchange with Whoopi and Joy Behar after negative remarks were made about his father, President Trump.
Whoopi and Behar’s feathers were ruffled when Don Jr. said, “We’ve all done things that we regret. I mean if you’re talking about bringing a discourse down. Joy, you have worn ‘blackface’. Whoopi, you’ve said that Roman Polanski… it wasn’t ‘rape-rape,’ when he raped a child.’ So, let’s talk about serious things.”
The show received record-high ratings and since it’s airing, Trump Jr.’s new book earned the #1 spot on the New York Times best sellers list.
Don Jr. couldn’t help pointing out his success as part of his birthday wishes for Whoopi that are sure to get under her skin.
