The Freedom Times previously reported during Monday’s White House Coronavirus Task Force press briefing, My Pillow founder Mike Lindell spoke at the podium and encouraged Americans to pray during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lindell announced last week that his company will manufacture face masks for hospitals, amid the coronavirus pandemic, hence his visit to the White House to speak during Monday’s briefing.
“I’m proud to manufacture our products in the United States and I’m even more proud to serve our nation in this great time of need. Thank you, Mr. President, for your call to action, which has empowered companies like My Pillow to help our nation win this invisible war,” Lindell said at the White House Rose Garden on Monday.
He praised President Trump’s response to the crisis and also said prayer was needed after religion has disappeared in public schools.
“God gave us grace on November 8, 2016, to change the course we were on,” Lindell said. “God had been taken out of our schools and lives, a nation had turned its back on God. I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the word. Read our Bibles and spend time with our families.”
“Our president gave us so much hope, were just a few short months ago, we had the best economy, the lowest unemployment, wages going up. It was amazing. With our great president, vice president, and this administration, and all the great people in this country praying daily, we will get through this, and back to a place that’s stronger and safer than ever,” he added. While Lindell is shifting production at his company to manufacture face masks for hospitals amid the coronavirus pandemic, angry leftwing journalists took to Twitter to mock the My Pillow CEO.
MSNBC’s Ali Velshi tweeted: “Trump just called the ‘My Pillow’ guy up to the podium in the Rose Garden. You cannot make this stuff up.”
MSNBC’s Joy Reid tweeted: “So my Tiger King binge was interrupted by a text saying the CEO of MyPillow is now part of the presidential briefings on COVID19 … please tell me this is a prank.” Continued Below
Reid also tweeted: “So if Trump is now doing the Celebrity White House Apprentice will there be bigger stars cast? And can we expect dailing ratings updates? Because apparently what we can’t expect are answers to when we will have enough tests and crucial medical equipment to help beat the PANDEMIC.”
CNN’s executive editor Ram Ramgopal tweeted: “In case you were wondering what My Pillow is doing in a time of coronavirus,” and included a video clip.

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld slammed Ali Velshi saying: “When you start producing 50 thousand masks a day you can go up to the podium too. In the meantime sit on your fence and keep your thumb up your ass.”

Then, he ripped Tom Nichols:
Hey goofy My Pillow guy is making 50 thousand masks while this douche adds nothing to the world but his own self satisfied finger sniffing https://t.co/iHrC7Vnk7k

Gutfeld also blasted leftwing Sarah Reese Jones:
he also aims to produce 50K hospital masks a day, but you go with this angle cuz you're desperate for likes ya hack https://t.co/GTdxOil0uj
— GregGutfeld (@greggutfeld) March 31, 2020
Gutfeld added:
when people do great things to help others, the media mocks their religion. imagine, if it were the reverse: someone did EVIL things, and then you mentioned their religious extremism. the media would be calling you a bigot. screw these hypocritical assholes.

James Woods responded to Joy Reid and Ram Ramgopal:
During literally each fart breath you exhale watching Netflix, his company is making hundreds of masks for health care workers to fight this globalist pandemic. It adds up to 50,000 a day. A DAY. What are you doing, you worthless #MediaGrub? https://t.co/SUQMUYb9zM
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) March 31, 2020
Yes, he’s donating 50,000 masks a day, while you’re sniping from the crapper, adjusting your butt plug. But you’re #CNN, so that explains a lot right there… https://t.co/v0WxTMXI1a

We leave you with a few highly engaged responses to Ali Velshi:
He’s making PPE for people fighting on the frontlines. What are you doing, Ali?

His company has retooled and is now making masks for hospitals. He’s a great American!
— Mark Dice (@MarkDice) March 30, 2020
Your transparent contempt for an American business owner who has converted his business overnight to make life saving masks for vulnerable Americans is disgusting. The "guy" you’re referring to will make more of a difference with this one act than you ever will in your life.

.@realMikeLindell is a great American hero. I'm thankful we have such great individuals like Mike stepping up to the plate to help out his fellow Americans.

And what exactly are you doing to help? I don’t care who it is making masks. He’s helping someone.

Ohhhh. Now we get it. Only leftist business owners with the manufacturing capacity, and willingness to transform their business to help the nation should do so.
