Singer and songwriter Charlie Daniels issued a special message in response to the bombshell revelations related to the case against General Michael Flynn.
Explosive new internal FBI documents that were unsealed on Wednesday indicated that top bureau officials discussed their motivations for interviewing then-national security adviser Michael Flynn in the White House in January 2017 — and openly indicated that their “goal” was “to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired,” Fox News reported.
The Justice Department turned over documents this week, even though a February 2018 standing order in the case required the government to turn over any exculpatory materials in its possession that pertained to Flynn.
Among the batch of documents that were released, the most explosive part came with a transcription of the so called “goal” of the FBI’s interrogation of Flynn, which stated the following : “What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
Investigative reporter John Solomon said the unsealed notes suggest that the FBI “engaged in a conversation about how they could trick General Flynn into lying.” And as a result, this has now “put the FBI on the Flynn case in the darkest possible light.”
In reaction to what is implied by the documents, Charlie Daniels posted a special “note” to the “SOBs who tried to frame” General Flynn. See Below
“A note to the SOBs who tried to frame General Michael Flynn,” Daniels wrote. “If you’re going to kill a warrior you damn well better make the first shot count -you missed, you jerks.”
